VALENTEENA IANNI
🇮🇹 ITALY
Valenteena Ianni is a Fusion Bellydance dancer and international teacher from Rome, Italy. She is known for her precise and thoughtful approach to teaching, strong technique, and emotional stage work. Since 2010, Valenteena has taught in Italy and internationally, and has performed at major international festivals, including The Massive Spectacular in Las Vegas and Tribal Fest in California.
Valenteena is a certified ITS Level 2 teacher (Amy Sigil format) and the author of her own methodology, KILLER Dancer's PATH, which is successfully taught in Europe and online. In 2020, she created KARMA ECHOES, a system of combinations for choreography and improvisation aimed at developing purity of movement, flexibility, and musicality. Today, this format is used by hundreds of dancers, and certified Karma Echoes teachers work in Europe, South Africa, and Central Asia.
Since 2016, Valenteena has been directing the international project Karma Experiment. It was from this project that The Fifth Dimension emerged—a large-scale fantasy dance show and festival project bringing together dozens of dancers from around the world. Her work combines fusion bellydance, theatricality, visual dramaturgy, and the creation of entire stage worlds, making Valenteena particularly renowned for her unique creative and performative projects.
Performance & Video Project
A unique creative project at the intersection of stage performance and professional video filming.
Valenteena Ianni will create and stage her own choreography specifically for ALA FEST, focusing not only on movement but also on image, character, and stage presence.
The project will have two lives: participants will perform a production on the ALA Tribal Fest stage and also be part of a separate artistic video shoot!
The project's visual concept will be complemented by a custom costume and video concept by Olga Meos, uniting choreography, stage persona, and footage into a single story.

The opportunity to go through the entire creative process, from studying the material to performing and filming, and save the result as a full-fledged video work.
Participation in the project is open until October 4th due to costume production.

Welcome to the Potion Lab, where we'll create the perfect elixir for your dance! In this workshop, we'll work on a clean and expressive technique that captivates and holds the audience's attention. We'll blend fluidity, precise isolations, and complex, layered movements. What potion will we create today?
Each movement will become a separate ingredient in our recipe. We'll learn to select the right elements, connect them, and add details that make the movement more precise, expressive, and truly magical.

OLGA MEOS
🇰🇿 KAZAKHSTAN / 🇪🇪 ESTONIA
International teacher (more than 30 countries of training), originally from Kazakhstan, creator of the Tribal PRO group, as well as the largest tribal festival in the world TRIBAL-KZ.
Olga is an outstanding dancer with a wealth of experience and excellent technique. Her dances always amaze with a unique and creative approach to expression through movement. Not only does she have excellent technique and grace, but she is also able to convey emotions through her dance, which makes her performances exciting and memorable.
Olga is also a creative choreographer and can create amazing choreographic compositions that reflect her individual style and unique artistic vision. In addition to many years of teaching and dance research experience, Olga graduated from the Humanitarian and Technical University with the qualifications of "Choreographer-teacher" and "Teacher-psychologist" (2022), received the status of FCBD® Sister Studio with Carolina Nericchio in 2017.

This workshop explores the gaze as a choreographic and performative tool—not simply as a means of expressing emotions, but as a source of direction, energy, and connection. We will work with attention as a force that can guide our movement: through space, between bodies, and within ourselves. We will explore how the gaze activates space and creates connections in dance.
Through individual, pair, and group work, participants will explore how focus, peripheral perception, and nonverbal communication shape stage presence: connection with oneself, other dancers, and the audience.
This masterclass is about being seen and how attention can transform even simple movement into a vibrant and meaningful experience.

🔘 YES! But we do not guarantee the best seats.
❓ What if I can't come?
🔘 Unfortunately, we cannot refund tickets. Instead, you can gift or resell your ticket to someone who can come to our show. This way, your seat will not be wasted and someone else will be able to enjoy the beauty of our performance.
❓ Do performers need to purchase tickets?
🔘 YES, all performers need to purchase a ticket to enter the auditorium, even if you are an artist. If you want to enjoy the show from the auditorium, please remember to purchase a ticket in advance. We also remind that in your VIP package you received a unique code for a free ticket, which was sent to your email!
Also, please note that only those performers who are performing next are allowed to come on backstage. Please make sure that you are not visible in the auditorium from backstage.
❓ Is it possible to buy multiple tickets at once?
🔘 YES! Just select up to 10 tickets per order and pay.
❓ Will the names on the tickets be checked?
🔘 NO. The names and details will not be checked upon entering the show. Only the unique QR code on the ticket will be checked. If suddenly you are unable to go, you can give the ticket to another person.
❓ Are there any discounts for pensioners / children?
🔘 Unfortunately, we cannot offer discounts for children, pensioners or students, as organizational costs and rent have increased significantly this year, making it difficult to provide discounts.
❓ Can I come with a child?
🔘 YES, BUT every child is unique and their perception of the performances can vary greatly. Some children may be completely immersed in the atmosphere of the show, watching the performance and the bright images of the dancers with interest, while others may be scared by the volume or unusual costumes. Considering that our show will feature mystical and fantasy images, it is worth paying special attention to your child's reaction. If you come with infants or very young children, keep in mind that there may be a chance that they will get scared and start crying - this is especially important to consider, since such sounds can be quite audible in the concert video recording. Therefore, in order to protect both the mental state of your baby and the comfort of the artists and audience, it is better to think in advance about how to organize your visit. Do not forget that mothers also need time to rest and recover, so try to find a balance between a family visit to the show and taking care of your own needs.
PERFORMANCES
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your support and enthusiasm for our event!
However, it's important to note that for the festival to be a success, we require your support in purchasing master classes. This is critical, as without it, we won't be able to recoup our organizational costs. These events require SIGNIFICANT resources and effort to organize, and unfortunately, we cannot fully fund them through free performances alone. If everyone performs for free, then, unfortunately, our festival will not be able to continue in the future, and similar events will be at risk.
This year, we've strived to create an engaging and varied educational program, ensuring everyone can find something for themselves. By purchasing tickets to the master classes, you're not only supporting the festival but also investing in your own education and development as a teacher or aspiring dancer.
THEREFORE, WE DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO THE RULES FOR PARTICIPATION IN CONCERTS:
Only solo performers who purchase master classes can perform at concerts.
If a group is performing, at least 70% of the participants must undergo training.
These measures are necessary to ensure the QUALITY and sustainability of our festival. We always prioritize supporting dancers who are willing to develop and learn.

GALA SHOW ⭐️
The Gala Show will take place on the professional stage of the Orken Theatre. This is the festival's main stage event, so we pay special attention to the quality and preparation of the submitted performances. We expect complete stage works with a well-thought-out choreography or improvisational structure, musical material, costumes, imagery, and overall presentation. This includes a large stage, lighting, an auditorium, and a full-fledged concert format.
Please consider the size of the theater stage, the distance from the audience, and how the piece will be perceived in a large space. Here, not only technique is important, but also the integrity of the work, stage culture, and respect for the stage and the audience.
Participation in the Gala Show is by pre-registration and selection, as it is important to us to put together a strong, diverse, and cohesive concert program. Solo performances, duets, groups, and creative collaborations from various Tribal and Fusion styles are welcome.
HAFLA 🪩
The festival's party will take place within the walls of Tribal PRO Almaty and will maintain an intimate, warm atmosphere where dancers and spectators are close to each other.
Here, lively, unusual, experimental, and even slightly crazy ideas, humor, improvisation, and numbers that rely on direct contact with the audience work especially well.
There's no strict selection process based on professionalism, as there is for the Gala Show. We prioritize the idea itself, the mood, and the enjoyment of the dance.
When preparing your act, consider the format of the space: the audience will be very close, so this is a great opportunity to play with contact, gaze, interaction, and erase the traditional boundary between stage and audience.
‼️ Important limitation
The parties are rated 12+ , so please avoid overtly sexualized, vulgar, or provocative imagery and themes.
All performances should be comfortable for a wide audience.
In all other respects, there is complete creative freedom.
Experiment, try new things, push the boundaries and enjoy the scene.
MUSIC LENGTH LIMITS
⏱️ for solo no more than 3:30 minutes, for groups no more than 4:30 minutes.
Please take this into account when selecting and preparing music.

PHOTO PROJECT

We will open registration for the photo project on October 1st.
The preliminary shoot will take place on Friday, October 16th, in the morning. We've decided to split up the registrations slightly: you can purchase festival packages first, and then plan additional activities closer to the festival, so as not to overwhelm your wallet with everything at once.
We'll only be able to accommodate 6 people for the photo project, so if you're interested in participating, just keep this date in mind. We'll announce all the details, costs, and registration information closer to October 1st.
